Microsoft and The Cloud

I had another great day at Microsoft (Reading, UK) last Tuesday.

There were a number of highlights to the day including forecasts from IDG and Gartner that Cloud and Virtualisation would perform strongly this year.

Obviously this was particularly exciting for virtualCONTACT, but even more exciting was that Microsoft announced their Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS).

No doubt we’ll all be hearing more about this in the very near future, but we are about to experience the move away from the traditional desktop to more productive, cost effective and greener thin client computing.--
